What is FOPSA?
We are the Friends of Priory School Association (the traditional term would be PTA), a group of parents and carers who work with the school to support it. Fundraising is our main objective and the money raised goes towards buying resources for the school and children that are outside of the school budget. We do this by organising the Fireworks Night and Summer Fair, along with various other fundraising events and initiatives you can join in with!
Recent funds raised have been used towards some incredible resources and events for our children and school including:
|Learning Resources for the Children||Events to Enrich their Experience and Learning||Tools and Support for the School|
KS1 & KS2 Reading Books
Watches for Year 5
Children's Christmas Shopping Day
Interactive Space Dome
Priory Sports Kit
Help towards TAMHS Worker
Contribution to Year 6 Leavers' Disco
Tables for Year 2
Playground Equipment: Basketball, Netball and Cricket Nets
Details of our events and fundraising initiatives will be sent round nearer the time by ParentMail and in our newsletters, but expect to hear about Christmas trees, discos, quizzes, ice lolly sales and summer fairs during the school year, just to name a few!
How to get involved?
We really do need new members, trustees, adhoc volunteers and new ideas to help us to support the school and provide extra funding.
Getting involved with FOPSA is a great way to find out what's going on in the school and meet other parents. Every parent is always welcome to attend our meetings and coffee mornings - attending doesn't put you under any obligation. Please do consider if you can spare just some of your time to join us and support your children's school. You don't have to be a formal member of the committee to be involved, adhoc support is also greatly appreciated. Thank you!
You can also help raise funds by going shopping - click on the Raising Money link in the left hand menu.
